Treatment uses a sequence of aligners, worn and changed according to your doctor's instructions. You remove them for meals and to brush and floss. Progress checks help your doctor assess how your teeth are moving and whether the plan needs to change.

Straightening is one part of the plan. Retainers help keep teeth in their new positions after treatment. Refinements and retainers are included with your aligner treatment. We'll explain your retention plan and how to wear and care for your retainers.

Are clear aligners right for you?
Clear aligners may help with crowded teeth, gaps or teeth that have shifted after earlier orthodontic treatment. Some bite problems can also be treated with aligners, but not every case is a good fit.

Can I take them out to eat?+
Yes. Aligners are removable for meals and for brushing and flossing. They still need to be worn consistently according to your clinician's instructions. Removable doesn't mean occasional.
Will they hurt?+
You may feel pressure or soreness as teeth move, especially with a new set of aligners. We don't promise pain-free treatment. Ask your treating clinician what to expect, and contact them if something feels wrong or is worrying you.
